The sound of Schwarze Fiktion encapsulates both minimalism and grandeur – with a nod to Trentemøller (DK), Suuns (CAN), and The Soft Moon (US). Majestic waves of synth, heavy bass lines, atmospheric guitars and vocals alternating between bass and falsetto are the characteristics of the band‘s sound, encouraging the listener to reflect and to dance. When playing live, Schwarze Fiktion adds captivating visuals that amplify the melodic and gripping soundscapes.

The band is currently working on their first full album to be released on vinyl and digitally in late 2017.
